Research Grants

The Graduate School “Techniques of Future-Making” at the Research Cluster “Society and

Culture in Motion” (SCM), Halle (Germany) announces the following openings:

 

10 grants for Ph.D. students (EUR 1500/month) for 24 months with the possibility of

a 12 months extension.

 

Applications must be received (not postmarked) by March 31st, 2018

Beginning: October 1st, 2018

Summer School

7th GESIS Summer School in Survey Methodology

The 7th GESIS Summer School in Survey Methodology takes place 02-24 August at GESIS in Cologne, Germany. 15 courses are scheduled, among them 5 short courses and 10 one-week courses. The program is online, and registration is open at www.gesis.org/summerschool

 

15 scholarships by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) via CDSS as well as the European Survey Research Association (ESRA) are available. For more information on scholarships, please visit www.gesis.org/summerschool

 

Call for Contributions to our Newsletter

For the future issues of our Newsletter, we need your contributions. We are particularly interested in contributions on:

 

  • Relevant calls for papers for conferences, workshops, and special journal issues
  • Conference and workshop reports
  • New book publications
  • Brief reviews of books or seminal journal articles (approx. 200-300 words)
  • Reports from activities on organizational sociology in national associations
