This month’s newsletter includes a call for submissions of sub-theme proposals for EGOS 2026 as well as information on a special issue of Critical Sociology on “Re-Vitalizing the Concept of Organization: Inspirations from Recent Social Theory” edited by and contributed to by several of our members. Call for Sub-Theme Proposal for the 42nd EGOS Online Colloquium

The EGOS Executive Secretariat would like to remind you of the deadline for submissions of sub-theme proposals for the 42nd EGOS online Colloquium, hosted by the University of Bergamo (Italy) from July 9 to 11, 2026. The overall theme of this Colloquium is “Reframing Organizations in the More-than-Human Society”.

Please submit your sub-theme proposal via the EGOS website by Tuesday, December 10, 2024, 23:59:59 CET.

Special Issue of Critical Sociology on “Re-Vitalizing the Concept of Organization: Inspirations from Recent Social Theory”

We would like to announce the publication of a new Special Issue/Symposium in Critical Sociology:

This Special Issue/Symposium aims to revitalize the concept of organization in the light of pressing societal transformations with recent social theory in mind.
