The Department of Sociology and Political Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim is searching for a PhD candidate in organizational sociology. The PhD-position is a temporary position for a period of three years, connected to the research group “Organization and Society”. The position may be extended by up to one year if the candidate is assigned teaching responsibilities. The purpose of the PhD project is to study how meta-organizations tackle so-called “grand challenges”. The specific project is supposed to focus on the issue of ocean governance.
